Adam Weist
Adam is an adventure, travel, and portrait photographer based in the mountains outside of Boulder, Colorado. Since attending NYU to study Economics, he's also lived and worked in SF and LA, focusing on developing his photography skills outside of his day jobs in the finance and tech industries.
Over the past decade, Adam's travels have taken him to nearly 2/3rds of America’s national parks, 40 countries, and nearly every US state. While much of his time has been spent photographing California’s High Sierra and other coastal and mountainous regions of the American West, he's also had the opportunity to explore and photograph the deserts of Egypt & Jordan, the jungles of Hawaii and Central America, the bustling cities of India, the remote Brooks and Alaska Ranges, the Icelandic highlands, and the high alpine landscapes of the Peruvian Andes and Patagonia. Adam draws inspiration from visiting dramatic, remote locations and fully immersing himself in local cultures, capturing images meant to inspire viewers to get out of their comfort zones, explore, and create a unique experience for themselves.
